Dušan Joksić is a young and talented artist dedicated to the ongoing search for his own unique artistic voice. Creative interpretation lies at the heart of his work.

Born in Serbia, Dušan began his musical studies at the Academy of Music in Belgrade before continuing his education in Hamburg. There, he completed his Master’s degree and, in 2026, graduated with distinction from the Konzertexamen (Soloist Diploma) under the guidance of Professor Sebastian Schmidt. During this period, the premiere of Igor Andrić’s concerto took place with the Symphoniker Hamburg under the direction of Ulrich Windfuhr.
His artistic development has been significantly shaped by his continuous collaboration with Professor Goran Gribajčević, with whom he has worked since 2023. Working with Sergey Malov has also provided important new impulses to his artistic work. In addition, Dušan has received valuable inspiration from renowned musicians such as Meesun Hong Coleman and Roi Shiloah, further expanding his musical horizons through masterclasses with internationally acclaimed artists.

Dušan was named “Best Student” at the Academy of Music in Belgrade and has received several awards, including the Meri-Žeželj Prize, the Thorle Foundation Award, and the Johannes Brahms Foundation Prize. His concert appearances have taken him to numerous European countries.
In his interpretations, he combines fidelity to the composer’s intentions with a sensitive and distinctive artistic voice. He has a particular passion for contemporary music as well as historically informed performance practice, which he studied with Gerhart Darmstadt.
As a dedicated chamber musician, Dušan focuses primarily on string quartets and piano trios. He has gained orchestral experience in Hamburg and Bremen, as well as with the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble. He is also a member of the Donne Quartet, with which he performs regularly.
